In case you missed it, Twin Tiers Women’s Health Team, a long-time OB-GYN practice in Elmira, New York, has joined The Chautauqua Center, Inc. (TCC), a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). The practice operates as TCC Elmira and will continue to grow under that brand, serving Chemung, Schuyler, and Steuben Counties.

The location continues to operate as private practice and will remain such until a proper transition to a federal designation can occur. During this time, patients can expect the same high-quality care they have come to expect from Dr. Bruce Surosky and the Twin Tiers Women’s Health Team. Additional services generally associated with primary care for adults and families are now available. Shannon Russ, NP, is currently accepting all patients 18 and older.

TCC is a non-profit organization that provides a wide range of health services, including primary care, dental care, behavioral health, and substance abuse treatment. The addition of Twin Tiers Women’s Health Team will allow TCC to expand its women’s health services, adult primary care, and family care in the Twin Tiers. Dr. Surosky will also continue to provide much-needed fertility services for the region.
