COLORECTAL CANCER SCREENINGS
Colorectal cancer is one of the leading causes of death in the United States, responsible for over 50,000 deaths annually. Colorectal cancer is preventable and treatable – the key to early detection is to be screened. Screening for colorectal cancer is recommended for adults 45 and older and those with:
- Family history of colorectal cancer
- Inflammatory bowel disease
- A history of polyps
While colonoscopy is the most effective screening method, there are other options available. Please refer to accompanying chart to discuss with your physician the best screening option tailored to your health needs.
We offer stool base testing for colorectal cancer screenings. Ask your doctor about which option is right for you.
