Pam Marchincin Above & Beyond Fund

Pamela was a beloved colleague and friend to many at The Chautauqua Center. The staff at The Waterfront Foundation worked closely with her family to create a fund that would capture her spirit, and directly benefit patients in need.

Give to our 2023 Annual Fund

We raise funds all year long to support community health.

Please consider giving to our annual fund, allowing us to use your donation in ways that are needed the most throughout the year.

The Waterfront Foundation is a 501c3 not-for-profit corporation established in 2019 to raise and manage funds and properties which support the mission, services and programs of The Chautauqua Center, Inc.

One of the ways we do this is by organizing free community events and programs that support families in need. In 2022, our popular Family Fun Day events were rebranded Community Picnics, with a renewed emphasis on healthy lifestyles and diet. Hundreds of people of all ages attended in both Dunkirk and Jamestown. 1800 backpacks with school supplies were given to attendees as well as distributed to school districts throughout Chautauqua County.

We also brought back our in-person Mammogrammy events in 2022 to increase awareness of breast cancer. Attendees enjoyed spa day amenities, onsite mammograms through Windsong Mobile Mammography and other cancer screening resources.

Our newest program in Jamestown, Read to Me TCC, has provided hundreds of new books to children ages 0-18. Similar to our Dunkirk Pediatrics initiative Reach Out and Read, these efforts help get books into the hands of kids who may not have access to a reading library at home. Supplies are available in English and Spanish.
